Consultant Vascular Interventional Radiologist

A University Hospital in the Midlands of UK, is one of our clients that belongs to the public healthcare system NHS, and has now open vacancies for Consultants Vascular Interventional Radiologists.

Description of the Position

• Major Trauma Centre , serves a trauma population of over 2 million people
• Close cooperation with the Vascular Surgery and complex Endovascular Intervention
• Working in a total team of 48 Radiologists across the directorate (4 vascular interventional radiologists and 4 non-vascular Interventional Radiologists)

• Working on a new  abdominal aortic aneurysm screening programme

• Provides high quality imaging equipment (3 Interventional Radiology rooms, including two operating theatre specification rooms)

• The Radiology Department performs over 480,000 examinations per annum across all modalities and has its own stand alone training scheme within the West Midlands School of Radiology
• Undergraduate and postgraduate teaching is encouraged.
• Easy travelling distance of centres around the region

Applicant Requirements

• Experienced Consultant Radiologist
• A registration to the GMC’s Specialist Register would be an asset
• At least two year’s subspecialty experience in Vascular/Interventional radiology
• Able to participate in the 1 in 7 Interventional radiology on call rota. This is supported by an interventional radiology nurse and radiographer on call rota.

Description of the position

Medical Services (diagnosis and treatment of all dermatologic diseases and problems)

Cosmetic  Dermatology Services (including laser, non-invasive skin tightening and fat reduction treatments and a variety of injectables)

Aesthetic dermatology

Operate a stem cell center at highest level, provide innovative stem cell procedures

Worldwide VIP clients

Familiarity with skin cancer recognition techniques ( mole mapping)

Perform the relevant basic biopsy for pathological evaluation
